Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. (Romans 5:3-5 NIV)
A preacher once compared trials to washing machines – for the clothing to be clean, it must endure all the machines cycles, including being drenched, covered in soap, and spun around. no matter how tough your trial may be, you can’t remove yourself from Gods will until He is through! it takes patience to accept Gods trails and wait on His timing, yet it is the only way to grow closer to God. when we are in the middle of a spiritual battle and feel the pull to avoid conflict we must realize that God has a purpose in mind for every trial and testing of our faith. these trails are all according to His perfect timetable. God is always, always at work!! even in the difficult times, God works on our behalf. God doesn’t make mistakes y’all!! your tail trial wasn’t at a bad time for God – that financial struggle didn’t come a little too early – your spiritual battle wasn’t at an I opportune time according to Gods timetable! everything happens in HIS time in HIS way for A REASON! If you find yourself questioning God in your trial – worship Him!! worship Him through it because even if your circumstances aren’t good, God is always good! don’t search for a way out because God has a purpose for the trials you face and for the time at which you face them. when the devil tempts you to question Gods timing and turn from Him during a trial, remember that God is in control, He has a purpose for what you are facing and how you worship Him through it will determine the outcome!
*I pray to always worship God – good days, bad days, hard days, easy days.. He is always good to me. I pray that I would be humble during His timing and focus on what He has called me to and not what I am going through. I pray for strength during those times and for a patient heart to get through them.
