His sacrifice paid for our sins ⚡️

The people stood watching, and the rulers even sneered at him. They said, “He saved others; let him save himself if he is God’s Messiah, the Chosen One.” The soldiers also came up and mocked him. They offered him wine vinegar and said, “If you are the king of the Jews, save yourself.” There was a written notice above him, which read: this is the king of the jews. (Luke 23:35-38 NIV)
A famous Baptist pastor once visited the site of Calvary in Israel and went to the top where Christ died. The guide asked him if he’d ever been there before and the pastor said yes, 2,000 years ago.. A piece of each of us was at Calvary that day as Christ bore each one of our sins. our sins demanded death, and Christ paid the price as He shed His blood for us. Christ’s redemption provides a way to heaven! doing good things won’t get us to heaven, but believing in Christ will! when we were in sin we had no hope for an eternity with God but Christ changed that when he died on the cross.
Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life. (John 6:47 NIV) Christ paid the price so that we might be saved! His sacrifice paid for our sins and provided a way for us to get to heaven. Thank God today that He sent His son to die for us. Not only did He did for us but he rose three days later! death could not have power over Him! As you remember Christ’s sacrifice, rejoice in that He is alive today!!
*There are many who still have not received Christ’s gift of forgiveness and I pray that I would never stop telling people of Christ’s good news. That I would always let them know that Christ paid for their sins and provided them a way to Heaven when He died on the cross. I pray that I would share His message of the cross today and everyday!!
