Gods glory 🌊

So never be ashamed to tell others about our Lord. And don’t be ashamed of me, either, even though I’m in prison for him. With the strength God gives you, be ready to suffer with me for the sake of the Good News. For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time—to show us his grace through Christ Jesus. (2 Timothy 1:8, 9 NLT)

“More men fail through lack of purpose than lack of talent” – Billy Sunday. Many people go about with with no purpose and some to gather earthy possessions or material wealth. As Christians we know that God has a purpose for each of our lives!! One of those purposes is to glorify his name – Ephesians 1:12 “That we should be to the praise of His glory..” When we bring praise to His name, we are fulfilling Gods purpose for us as believers. The world notices Christians!! They watch how we live and if we love no differently than they do, they won’t see their need for Christ. A lot of people today hurt and struggle to find significance in life. They turn to money, pleasure, or substances to find purpose BUT true life is only found in Christ. God desires for is to glorify Him in all that we do each and every day. Where ever we are, others should know that we are Christians through our words and actions.
* I pray that I would never desire for my purpose on earth to be about gaining possessions or material wealth but that it would ALWAYS be about doing Gods will and glorifying His name in all that I do. That everyday I would ask Him to help me glorify Him and that I would remember to honor Him daily!!
