He has been there. šŸ

After saying these things, Jesus crossed the Kidron Valley with his disciples and entered a grove of olive trees. Judas, the betrayer, knew this place, because Jesus had often gone there with his disciples. The leading priests and Pharisees had given Judas a contingent of Roman soldiers and Temple guards to accompany him. Now with blazing torches, lanterns, and weapons, they arrived at the olive grove. (John 18:1-3 NLT)
Jesus knew the sadness of a loss. He knew the pain of death. He felt the hurt of rejection. Jesus also experienced the pain of personal betrayal. it’s one thing to have the world against you, but it’s another thing to have those closest to you betray you.
Judas walked with Jesus for three and a half years. He heard Jesus’ teachings, saw His miracles, and witnessed his power. Yet Judas did not accept Christ for who He was. He was not a true follower of Christ. It must have hurt the Lords heart to see Judas side with the enemy! He betrayed Jesus and had chosen his worst enemy. all the time The Lord spend with Judas went to waste. When someone we love turns away or betrays us it hurts our hearts! even so God knows how we feel and wants to help us through it! When you are hurt by someone you love you don’t have to go through the pains of life alone! Christ has experienced the pain you face today. He suffered loss, the death or a loved one, personal betrayal, denial, and rejection. Don’t love in hurt and pain, seek Christ’s comfort, and press on for Him today!!
* God I pray to always seek your comfort and know that you have felt more pain then I ever will. That you want to help me through the struggles of life and that you will if I give my situation up to you.
